PSYCHONAUT 75 is a project founded on the concept of blending blasphemous, harsh terror-industrial elements with melodic danceable rhythms. Exploring the depths of the human mind, Psychonaut 75 expresses the symbolism of darkness and the potential of humanity as a destructive and creative force, often transcending the traditional symbols of ‘good’ and ‘evil’.

Formed in 1997 as a ritualistic project, Psychonaut 75 recorded several albums based on Magick and Michael’s explorations of the mind. In 2001 Akhtya75 [Michael W. Ford] reestablished Psychonaut 75 in Houston, Texas and a new line up brought ‘Stealing the Fire from Heaven’, a harsh chaos-industrial album and a split cd with Aesthetic Meat Front, featuring the use of human bones in the music.
2008 brought Akhtya75 [Michael] to begin collaborating with two others, ALICESIN, a strikingly traditional vocalist with a beautiful tone which brings warmth and depth to the music, A.MURDER, a musician who brings a sense of militant structure and harsh, violent screaming. PSYCHONAUT 75’s new EP INFECTION is featuring both rich and warm melodic vocals with screams and dissonant, ghostlike chanting to stretch the limits of Psychonaut 75 to date. Classical instruments such as Arabic tabla, oud and Kaman (violins) to harsh electro industrial sounds initiate PSYCHONAUT 75 as a new type of project.
